View original imageGangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is conducting the "Apartment Support Project" to create a pleasant residential environment by supporting the costs of safe management of apartment complexes. The support is divided into two areas: community activation projects and common facility management projects.
The community activation project includes repairs of children's playgrounds, installation and improvement of facilities for the disabled, installation of CCTV due to opening of fences or passageways, restroom repairs, and repairs of multipurpose facilities such as cafes and lecture rooms. The common facility management project supports repairs of main roads and security lights, repairs and dredging of outdoor sewage systems, and installation and improvement of energy-saving facilities.
In particular, emergency disaster safety facility repairs and reinforcement for residents' safety will be given priority support. The support targets 306 apartment complexes with 30 or more households in the area, excluding complexes completed within the last 5 years.
The support scale is up to 50% of the total project cost, with a maximum of 12 million KRW per complex. However, small apartment complexes with fewer than 150 households can receive support up to 60% of the project cost. The support funds will be provided from April this year after review by the Apartment Support Deliberation Committee.
Applications can be submitted from the 15th of this month to February 8th by visiting or mailing the required documents, including the support application form, jointly signed by the president of the residents' representative meeting and the head of the management office, to the Housing Division of Gangseo-gu Office.
Detailed information and necessary forms can be found and downloaded on the Gangseo-gu Office website under Gangseo News - Notices/News.
Last year, the district supported 59 complexes with repairs of children's playgrounds and outdoor parking lots, sewage dredging, reinforcement of disaster safety facilities, and improvement of security office environments.
