Yoo Jung-yeol, President of KOTRA, attended a corporate meeting and briefing jointly held by KOTRA and Gyeonggi Technopark in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province on the 8th, and stated, "In 2024, we will expand on-site visits for exports both domestically and internationally." He added, "We plan to continue these on-site visits in the first half of the year following this initial round."

On the 8th, a meeting was held in Ansan with medical supplies and chemical materials companies, as well as aircraft parts manufacturers, to review the current export status. During the subsequent briefing, KOTRA introduced its big data platform, 'TriBig.' Gyeonggi Province has the highest export ratio among local governments.
On the 9th, to find logistics solutions for Korean companies, KOTRA will visit HMM in Busan. Currently, KOTRA operates an emergency response team addressing logistics issues related to the Suez and Panama Canals. This visit is expected to help understand logistics-related difficulties and develop more effective support measures. After the logistics inspection, KOTRA will also meet with Busan-based companies producing water treatment systems, bearings, and shoes.

On the 10th, in Ulsan, which has the second-highest export ratio among local governments, KOTRA will hold a meeting with export companies specializing in secondary batteries, automotive parts, and shipbuilding. Afterwards, they will move to Cheonan to visit companies related to supply chain issues. These companies are closely monitoring gallium supply from China and are working to stabilize the supply chain by utilizing KOTRA's import source diversification projects to discover a second supply chain.
