'Year of Visit Korea' Slogan Chosen by the Public: "I am Your K-Travel Mate"
Online Voting Participation of 24,434 People
The Korea Visit Committee announced on the 8th that through an online public vote conducted with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the slogan for the 2023-2024 Korea Visit Year has been selected as "I am your K-Travel Mate."

View original imageA total of 24,434 people participated in the online vote, and "I am your K-Travel Mate" received the most support with 9,141 votes (37.4%).
The Visit Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism conducted an online public vote for eight days from December 18 to 25 last year to select a slogan to be used for the Korea Visit Year campaign and public promotion throughout this year.
Other slogans that received high votes include △ "K-Exciting, K-Emotional, Korea Visit Year" with 6,661 votes (27.3%), △ "The Power Continuing K-Culture, That's Us" with 4,862 votes (19.9%), and △ "Now We Are the K-Culture Guides" with 3,770 votes (15.4%).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Visit Committee plan to continuously use the selected slogan as the promotional phrase for this year's Korea Visit Year campaign projects.

A representative from the Visit Committee explained, "'I am your K-Travel Mate' carries the message of 'companionship' and 'inclusion,' meaning that foreign tourists visiting Korea can enjoy traveling with us, and we become their best travel mate, fostering a public atmosphere of welcoming foreigners."
