Yecheon-gun secured the site for the temporary public parking lots for residents' safety and convenience by signing a free lease contract with Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, the landowner, until 2025.
Yecheon-gun is currently promoting a parking tower construction project with 310 spaces on the site of the first public parking lot, with a project cost of about 14 billion KRW including 7 billion KRW from provincial funds, and it is expected that the creation of temporary public parking lots will help resolve parking space shortages that may occur during the construction of the parking tower.
