Hampyeong-gun, Jeonnam Province Awarded Excellence in 'Comprehensive Road Maintenance Evaluation'
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 5th that it received an Excellence Award in the '2023 Local Road Maintenance Comprehensive Evaluation' conducted by Jeollanam-do targeting 22 cities and counties.
Hampyeong-gun established a systematic plan to repair road facilities damaged by heavy summer rains and winter snow removal operations.
Last year, the county was highly evaluated for its dedicated efforts in pothole repairs, road surface cleaning, and maintenance of safety signs and road mirrors.
With a cold wave expected this winter, the county plans to thoroughly prepare by actively implementing various winter road maintenance measures, including snow removal strategies, to minimize damage to residents.
