View original imageAt the conference, Mayor Kim said, "We have overcome difficult times together with the citizens and created various innovative achievements that serve as the foundation for regional development," and emphasized, "This year, with the unstoppable power of innovation, we will not only achieve a new leap forward for Anseong but also draw a hopeful future centered on 'citizens and their interests.'"
Mayor Kim also explained this year's business plans by sector.
In the health and welfare sector, the plans include ▲establishing new elderly care services and unifying health and welfare tasks for seniors ▲expanding job opportunities for the elderly ▲revitalizing senior centers ▲increasing self-support workers ▲strengthening long-term care home medical services and child care and medical support ▲supporting childbirth and parenting and raising parental allowances ▲improving the treatment of social welfare workers ▲and providing patriotic veterans' allowances.
In the industry and economy sector, the main projects selected are ▲fostering a semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment specialized complex and establishing a dedicated department ▲promoting the establishment of an industrial promotion institute ▲upgrading industrial complexes and conducting a full survey of companies ▲promoting the establishment of Anseong Urban Corporation ▲revitalizing the old downtown and traditional markets ▲expanding support for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners ▲and implementing local currency incentive projects.
In the transportation and infrastructure sector, the plans include ▲expanding the metropolitan bus network ▲installing city bus lounges and expanding convenience facilities ▲continuing free transportation for the elderly and expanding support for children and youth ▲promoting public village buses ▲activating demand-responsive smart buses and Happy Taxi services ▲and completing facilities such as family centers, lifelong learning centers, empathy centers, youth startup centers, and administrative welfare centers.
For the agriculture, livestock, culture, and tourism sectors, the core projects include ▲activating rural agreement projects and the Rural New Vitality Plus project ▲constructing an integrated agricultural administration town and food support center ▲expanding public meals and fostering local food ▲reducing livestock odors and converting livestock manure into biogas energy ▲supporting projects and establishing a cultural foundation following the selection of Anseong as a Korean cultural city ▲developing lake tourism and creating the Geumbuk Jeongmaek hiking trail ▲and revitalizing the Baudeogi Festival and local events.
