Yongin City Selects 7 'Good Price Businesses'

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 3rd that it has newly designated seven local businesses as 'Good Price Stores' that offer products and services at affordable prices.
The newly selected businesses are ▲Hanyangjip (Cheoin-gu, Gimnyangjang-dong) ▲1984M Coffee (Cheoin-gu, Gimnyangjang-dong) ▲Namsa Computer Hospital (Cheoin-gu, Namsa-eup) ▲London Hair Gallery (Suji-gu, Pungdeokcheon 2-dong) ▲Hope Laundry (Cheoin-gu, Gorim-dong) ▲Yongma Hair Shop (Cheoin-gu, Mapyeong-dong) ▲Kkamjjang Hair Zone (Cheoin-gu, Gimnyangjang-dong).

With this designation, the total number of 'Good Price Stores' in the Yongin area has increased to 30. The city plans to provide designated businesses with plaques, waste volume-based garbage bags, and necessary supplies based on demand surveys to support their operations.
Since 2011, the city has been designating businesses that offer products and services to consumers at prices lower than the average through price surveys as 'Good Price Stores.'
The selection of target businesses is made through applications from individual business owners in sectors such as dining, beauty services, and laundry, or recommendations from related local associations. The designation is based on a comprehensive evaluation of price levels, store cleanliness, service quality, and whether the business is affiliated with local currency programs, with those scoring highest being selected.
However, even after designation, if a business no longer meets the price and service quality standards, the designation may be revoked.

A city official stated, "We will continuously manage the designated businesses by utilizing price monitoring teams so that citizens can trust and use the Good Price Stores."
