Another failure has occurred in the post office financial system, causing inconvenience to users.
According to the Ministry of Science and ICT's Postal Service Headquarters on the 30th, connection failures occurred in the post office financial internet banking, smart banking, and Postpay starting around 7 a.m. that day.
As of 3 p.m., some users were either completely unable to connect or experienced delays in connection, causing inconvenience. One user complained, "Post office financial transactions have been completely halted since the morning, which is inconvenient."
A representative from the Postal Service Headquarters stated, "It is not a complete failure," and added, "We are working with the National Information Resources Service and system construction contractors to identify the cause and are doing our best for a swift recovery."
This post office financial system connection failure recurred about three months after the previous incident just before the Chuseok holiday on September 27. On September 27, a failure occurred in the post office financial system from 9:38 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., causing suspension of financial transactions such as transfers and withdrawals at counters, internet banking, and automated machines (ATMs).

In July, an automatic transfer error occurred in the post office financial fund management service (CMS) system. During this process, money was withdrawn from the post office CMS integrated management account instead of the account deposits of about 1,700 institutions that had applied for automatic fund transfers. There was even an error where automatic transfers were made from accounts with insufficient balances.
