Busan City announced that to welcome the 2024 Gapjin Year (甲辰年), the Year of the Blue Dragon, it will introduce New Year’s sunrise events and sunrise viewing spots for citizens and tourists to wish for new year hopes and health.
First, the New Year’s sunrise events include ▲2024 Haeundae Sunrise Festival (Haeundae Beach) ▲Songdo Sunrise Festival (Songdo Beach) ▲2024 Gapjin Year Sunrise Events (Oryukdo Skywalk Plaza, Korea Maritime and Ocean University Parking Lot, Yunsan and Baesan Peaks).
Each local sunrise event will be held with residents and tourists enjoying the sunrise and side events, wrapping up the eventful Gyemyo Year (癸卯年) and welcoming the upcoming Gapjin Year (甲辰年) while praying together for new year hopes and health.
