Police Suspect Suicide as Cause of Death
A man in his 40s in Ulsan is suspected of killing his son in his 20s and then taking his own life, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Ulsan Ulju Police Station announced on the 27th at around 4:30 PM that a man in his 40s, Mr. A, stabbed his son in his 20s, Mr. B, with a weapon on a side road of a national highway in Bancheon-ri, Eonyang-eup, Ulju-gun, and then fled. Mr. B was found lying on the road bleeding and was transported to a hospital following a report from a nearby merchant, but he ultimately passed away at 5:21 PM that day.
After receiving the report, the police analyzed closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and tracked Mr. A, who was seen fleeing the scene by car. Mr. A’s car was found on a road about 5 km from the crime scene at 6:44 PM the same day. Mr. A was found dead inside the vehicle.
