The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization have teamed up with domestic fashion experts to create content aimed at targeting the European market.
The Korea Tourism Organization announced that it released the video 'Add to Kart,' produced in collaboration with fashion designer Jang Myung-sook, on the organization's YouTube channel (@imagineyourkorea) on the 22nd. Designer Jang is the first Korean fashion consultant to study in Milan and recently worked as the YouTuber 'Milanonna,' with over 930,000 subscribers.
Based on her extensive experience in the European and other overseas fashion industries, Jang Myung-sook provides various insights into shopping for visitors to Korea.
First, she shops for cost-effective socks in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, shares information about shopping for jeans and getting quick hem repairs, and purchases vintage scarves at the Busan International Market, a hub of the fashion industry. In addition to various shopping tips, she also introduces the immediate refund post-tax-free service implemented for the convenience of foreign shoppers, offering a wide range of fashion shopping advice.
