Jangwi 10 District Excluding 'Sarang Jeil Church' Transforms into 2,004-Unit Apartment Complex
Jangwi 10 District in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, which decided to exclude Sarang Jeil Church from the maintenance zone, will be transformed into a large-scale apartment complex with 2,004 households.
On the 22nd, Seoul City announced that it held the 12th Seoul Metropolitan Urban Redevelopment Committee meeting the day before and approved the amendment to the promotion plan for the Jangwi 10 Redevelopment Promotion Zone in the area of 68-37, Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu.
Designated as a maintenance zone in 2008 and having received management disposition approval in 2017, the Jangwi 10 District, which had faced difficulties in project promotion due to conflicts with religious facilities, is expected to gain momentum as the amendment to the promotion plan has been passed.
Following the exclusion of the religious facility, the boundaries of the maintenance zone will be adjusted, and plans for infrastructure such as roads will also be revised. Public facilities necessary for the area, such as parks and community centers, have also been allocated.
The district area is 91,362㎡, and a total of 2,004 households are planned to be supplied, of which 341 public housing units will be mixed with sale housing units.
