Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) encouraged and awarded a commendation to Jeon Kang-joo, a junior national golf team reserve player, on the 11th.
Jeon Kang-joo, who is attending Seoul Dongja Elementary School, was selected as a junior national golf team reserve player by the Korea Golf Association last November.
He began to stand out starting from the 13th Park Seri Cup National Elementary School Golf Tournament held in July 2021, and has recorded 15 placements in major domestic and international competitions to date.
In particular, this year he took first place in the ‘52nd National Youth Sports Festival Individual Competition,’ the ‘36th Seoul Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament,’ and the ‘26th Ko Jin-young Cup Golf Tournament.’
