Hana Securities Signs Business Agreement with Illunex for STO Project
Hana Securities announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with Illunex to develop a patent-based security token offering (STO) business model.
Illunex is a company that develops and operates corporate and technology matching solutions using big data, and operates services such as TechStorm, a technology patent trading platform. Through the business agreement with Illunex, Hana Securities will be responsible for account management necessary for transactions, discover various business models, and expand business collaboration. Illunex will be responsible for product development for technology patent STO issuance, as well as the establishment and operation of a fractional investment platform.
Choi Won-young, Head of Digital Division at Hana Securities, explained, "Together with Illunex, we will integrate industrial intellectual property rights into the financial market to broaden customers' investment experiences," adding, "We will strive to introduce various services by connecting the real economy with the financial market."

Meanwhile, Hana Securities has signed business agreements with major companies such as Pinnacle, Oasis Business, Print Bakery, ITCEN, and Danal Entertainment to collaborate on fractional investment platforms and security token businesses based on various underlying assets including real estate, artworks, gold and silver, and mobile content.
