Gyeonggawon Operates Advanced Technology Exploration Program at Pangyo Techno Valley

View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency conducted a pilot program on the 5th of this month, following the session on the 28th of last month, for elementary and middle school students in the province to explore the startup campus within the Pangyo Techno Valley complex, including the Digital Open Lab and Device Lab.
This program was divided into two themes, the ‘Local Problem ZERO Challenge’ and the ‘Climate Crisis SOS Challenge,’ to allow students to experience hands-on activities related to solving local issues and raising awareness of the climate change crisis.
The Local Problem ZERO Challenge focused on problem-solving activities through local resource analysis and the convergence of new technologies, while the Climate Crisis SOS Challenge emphasized responding to the climate change crisis using artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots and other tools.
Kang Seong-cheon, Director of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, stated, "Through the Pangyo Techno Valley exploration program, we aim to spark curiosity about science and technology among youth in the province and provide opportunities for them to grow into future science and technology talents."

Meanwhile, this program was conducted as part of the ‘2023 Regional Science Culture Capacity Building Project,’ supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Lottery Commission, the Korea Creative Foundation, and Gyeonggi-do.
