Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 5th that it is operating a reward system for reporting illegal activities such as emergency exit closures.
The reward system is designed to provide rewards to citizens who report acts such as the closure or locking of fire safety facilities, and it was established to enhance the safety awareness of building stakeholders.
The reporting targets include multi-use facilities, cultural and assembly facilities, sales facilities, transportation facilities, lodging facilities, entertainment facilities, and complex buildings.
Major violations include ▲closure or blockage of fire safety facilities ▲closure or damage to hallway and stairway exits ▲manipulating fire safety facilities arbitrarily to prevent automatic operation, among others.
