The Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign runs for 62 days from December 1 to January 31 of the following year, targeting companies, institutions, organizations, and citizens under the slogan “Make myself valuable through donation! Make Gumi valuable through donation!”
This year, Gumi City’s fundraising goal is 1,054 million KRW, which is 76 million KRW more than last year’s 978 million KRW. The Love Temperature Tower, which represents the warmth of love and sharing from Gumi citizens, rises by 1℃ for every 10.54 million KRW (1% of the fundraising amount) collected, reaching 100℃ when the goal is achieved.
Mayor Kim Jang-ho said, “As the Love Temperature Tower has exceeded 100℃ every year thanks to the warm hearts and hands of citizens, I expect that citizens will participate again this year and achieve an even hotter temperature of love than last year. There are still many neighbors around us struggling with economic difficulties and social isolation. I ask for the warm interest and hands of the citizens.”
