On the 1st, Samsung Securities held a nomination committee meeting and announced that it recommended Park Jong-moon (58), President of Samsung Life Asset Management Division, as the new CEO to succeed Jang Seok-hoon (60), the current CEO.
President Park Jong-moon, formerly head of the Samsung Life Financial Competitiveness Enhancement Task Force (TF), has supported the creation of future growth engines and synergies for Samsung Financial Group. After his promotion to president at the end of last year, he took charge of Samsung Life Asset Management Division, where he is credited with stabilizing operations amid an uncertain financial market environment while contributing to building an active organizational culture and enhancing human competitiveness.
