At the shareholders' meeting held on the 30th of last month, EXCO appointed Pyo Cheol-su (73), former Vice Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, as the 12th CEO and President.

CEO Pyo Cheol-su graduated from Busan High School and Seoul National University with a degree in Geography. He began his career at KBS and later worked at YTN and Gyeongin Broadcasting, demonstrating aggressive and innovative management achievements. He was then appointed to key positions such as Deputy Governor for Political Affairs of Gyeonggi Province and Vice Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission. His extensive multi-sector experience and strong personal network connecting central government and local regions were highly valued, leading to his selection as the ideal candidate for EXCO's efficient and future-oriented management.
At the shareholders' meeting, CEO Pyo pledged to enhance EXCO's brand originality and regional economic capabilities as the company approaches its 30th anniversary, and to transform EXCO into a global organization. He committed to leading aggressive and expansive management efforts to respond to the rapidly changing exhibition and convention environment and to seek new growth engines for EXCO.
The newly appointed CEO Pyo assumed office on the 1st, with a term of two years.
