Recall of 'Airang Sold Scones' for Undeclared Allergens
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 24th that Happy Day Food, a food manufacturing and processing company in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, which manufactures the scones (round) sold by Airang in Cheonan-si, Chungnam, failed to label allergenic substances. The product will be suspended from sale and recalled. The undeclared allergenic substances include eggs, wheat, and walnuts.
The recall targets products with expiration dates marked as June 2, 2024, and July 14, 2024.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has instructed Bupyeong-gu Office in Incheon to promptly recall the product. Additionally, consumers who purchased the product are urged to stop consumption and return it to the place of purchase.
