OCI Group Appoints Vice Chairman Kim Taek-jung as Head of Malaysia Region... Large Number of 1980s Generation Selected
OCI Group has carried out an organizational restructuring and regular executive appointments to strengthen global business competitiveness and discover future new growth businesses.
This personnel move focused on ▲establishing a new organization and reinforcing manpower to strengthen the Malaysia business, a major production base ▲establishing a dynamic organizational culture through the large-scale appointment of young talents born in the 1980s ▲appointing talent based on performance and enhancing organizational efficiency.
First, in response to the expansion of the core business site in Malaysia, the Malaysia Regional Headquarters (Malaysia RHQ) will be newly established. Kim Taek-jung, Vice Chairman of OCI, will concurrently serve as the head of Malaysia RHQ and oversee all business operations in Malaysia.
Bukwang Pharm, which recently transitioned to a sole management system, will have Seo Jin-seok, President of OCI Holdings, concurrently serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). President Seo plans to focus on reorganizing Bukwang Pharm’s management system and securing mid- to long-term growth engines.

Additionally, Kwak Ki-hoon, Executive Director and Head of Business Division 2 (age 40), will be promoted to Senior Executive Director, and two managers born in the 1980s will be newly appointed as executives.
