Ulleung-gun Heals Weary Farmers... Operating 'Goodball Class'
Goodball Stretching Enhances Natural Body Healing Power
Exercise Method to Relieve Fatigue Easily Using Leisure Time
From the 20th to the 22nd, Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, operated a Goodball class for 60 local farmers to heal their mind and body tired from farm work.
The training was held over three days at Cheonbu Resident Autonomy Center on the 20th, Seomyeon Resident Autonomy Center on the 21st, and Sadong Jangheung Dalmasil on the 22nd. To make it easier for farmers to participate, the training hours were scheduled in the evening from 7 PM to 9 PM.
Goodball (GOODBALL) is a specially made ball with elasticity similar to biological tissue. Through stretching using this ball, it is known as a new concept health management method that restores damaged fascia and enhances the body's natural healing power.
The purpose of holding the Goodball class was based on the idea that local farmers, who carry accumulated fatigue from year-round hard farming, can easily exercise during their leisure time to relieve fatigue. Farmer Park Gisuk, who attended the training, said, “After trying Goodball stretching, it was amazing how my stiff muscles loosened and my tired body felt much refreshed. I am grateful to Ulleung-gun for providing this training considering the health of farmers who work hard in farming.”
