The "Golf Emperor" Tiger Woods (USA) will take the field with his son Charlie for the fourth consecutive year.
AFP reported on the 22nd (local time) that "Woods will participate in the upcoming event, the PNC Championship (total prize money $1,085,000)." The PNC Championship is a 36-hole tournament where families form teams to compete. Players are allowed to use carts. Woods has appeared with his son for four consecutive years since 2020. This tournament will be held over two days starting December 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Prior to this, Woods will also participate in the PGA Tour's premium event, the Hero World Challenge (total prize money $3.5 million), held over four days starting the 30th in the Bahamas. Hosted by Woods himself, this tournament features top-tier players and requires walking the course without carts over the four days. Having not competed since his ankle surgery in April, Woods announced his return to regular competition by confirming participation in consecutive events.
