Mohegan Inspire Resort to Soft Open on the 30th
Step-by-step Opening by Q2 Next Year
Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort located on Yeongjongdo Island in Incheon announced on the 24th that it will have a soft opening on the 30th.
This soft opening includes three hotel towers with a total of 1,275 rooms (Forest Tower, Sun Tower, Ocean Tower), Korea's first performance-dedicated arena which will play a key role in attracting overseas tourists, MICE facilities with the largest hotel ballroom in the country, directly operated restaurants, and the state-of-the-art digital entertainment street "Aurora." Inspire plans to gradually open the entire resort in phases by the first half of 2024 according to its phased opening strategy.
Inspire is a large-scale integrated entertainment resort located in the 3rd International Business Complex near Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport on Yeongjongdo Island. It is the eighth resort project of its parent company, Mohegan. The Phase 1A facilities, built on a land area of 461,661㎡ equivalent to 64 soccer fields, involved an investment of about 2 trillion KRW, including approximately 960 billion KRW in foreign direct investment.
