Gwangju University Signs Comprehensive Agreement with Uzbekistan Korean International University
Gwangju University announced on the 22nd that it has signed a comprehensive agreement with Korea International University in Fergana, Uzbekistan, to promote education, academic research, and student and administrative exchanges.
On the 18th, a delegation from Gwangju University, including Vice President Kim Gap-yong, visited Uzbekistan and held a meeting with officials from Korea International University. They agreed to work together to enhance exchange cooperation and strengthen students' capabilities based on mutual understanding and trust.
Accordingly, the two institutions will carry out ▲ exchanges of professors, researchers, and staff ▲ exchanges of undergraduate and graduate students ▲ joint programs in accordance with the regulations of the Ministries of Education of both countries ▲ exchange of academic information, materials, and publications ▲ joint research and academic conferences ▲ and other exchange activities and projects agreed upon by both universities.
In particular, this agreement is expected to lead to broad global exchanges that break down national barriers, including mutual study abroad activation through 3+1 or 2+2 dual degree programs, language training, and student exchange programs, as well as connections to graduate school admission and employment support.
