Workplace Version MBTI? ... BPA Promotes 'Work Style Diagnosis' Workshop
Busan Port Authority (BPA) conducted a 'Work Style Diagnosis' for all employees and, based on the results, will hold a two-day leadership competency enhancement workshop from the 21st to the 22nd.
This workshop was organized based on the BPA leadership competency framework to strengthen the collaboration-building and conflict management skills required for middle managers, as well as the organizational communication skills needed for future managers, using the individual work style diagnosis results as a foundation.
During the two-day workshop, employees took time to correctly interpret their motivational value systems and work strengths and considered ways to create a collaborative environment in the workplace.
The work style diagnosis is an assessment that identifies organizational members' behavioral tendencies, motivations, and work strengths in everyday work and conflict situations; it can be thought of as a workplace version of MBTI.
Similar to the MBTI personality test, which has recently become a mega trend across our society, it can be used starting from understanding one's own and colleagues' work styles to building cooperative relationships within the organization and preventing anticipated conflicts.
