Damyang-gun Obtains 'Web Accessibility Quality Certification Mark'
Minimizing Confusion with Consistent Design Application, Introduction of AI Chatbot
On the 21st, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that its recently revamped integrated county website has obtained the Quality Mark Certification in the ‘Web Accessibility Quality Mark Certification Review’ conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The Web Accessibility Quality Mark is a system where the Ministry of Science and ICT grants a quality mark for one year to excellent websites that comply with the ‘Web Accessibility Standard Guidelines,’ ensuring that people with disabilities and the elderly can access and use the information provided on the website equally with non-disabled users.
During the recent integration and revamp, the county applied a consistent design to the main website and linked pages to minimize confusion and make it easy and convenient for all users to use.
Additionally, by expanding the disclosure of public materials such as official announcements and recruitment notices, and introducing an AI (artificial intelligence) chatbot function, the county has made efforts to improve usability by making it easier to find various information on the homepage.
