Ottogi Launches Air Fryer Exclusive 'Pound Cake Mix'
Earl Grey and Lemon 2 Types
Ottogi announced on the 20th that it has launched two types of air fryer-exclusive 'Pound Cake Mixes' targeting home baking demand.
Pound cake is a European-style dessert named for the traditional recipe of baking a cake with one pound (approximately 450g) each of flour, butter, sugar, and eggs. Ottogi's new products come in Earl Grey and Lemon flavors. In addition to the batter mix, an icing mix is also included.
The Earl Grey Pound Cake Mix features fragrant black tea flavor by adding Earl Grey tea powder, while the Lemon Pound Cake Mix is characterized by a sweet and tangy taste with added lemon juice powder. According to the company, the distinct powders are added not only to the icing but also to the batter, allowing for a rich flavor in the cake sheet as well.
To prepare, simply mix the batter with eggs and cooking oil without any additional ingredients, bake in a preheated air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes, and then top with the icing mix to complete.
