Making Yeongam a Second Hometown... A 3-Day, 2-Night Experience for Rural Student Immigrants and Their Families
Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Woo Seung-hee) conducted the ‘Moonlight Yeongam Returns YA (YeongAm, Ya) Let's Play’ program from the 10th to the 12th, allowing rural student exchange families to experience various parts of Yeongam.

According to the county on the 13th, this program was designed so that students who have studied or are studying rural exchange in Yeongam and their families can regard Yeongam as their second hometown.
Yeongam-gun continues to operate rural student exchange programs and improve living conditions through the creation of ‘Rural Study Stay Villages’ using budgets such as the Local Extinction Response Fund to attract and support rural student exchanges.

Governor Woo Seung-hee stated, “Rural study is a policy to respond to the decline in the local school-age population and the crisis of small school extinction,” adding, “In addition to this program, we will develop and support various policies to attract and stabilize rural student exchanges.”
