Hwaseong City Unveils Winning Design for Municipal Nursing Facility 'Hwaseong Silver Dream Center'

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province unveiled the winning design for the 'Hwaseong Silver Dream Center,' the first municipal elderly care facility in the city, on the 9th.

View original imageThe 'Hwaseong Silver Dream Center' will be constructed at 1513 Hagil-ri, Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong City, with one basement floor and three above-ground floors, covering a total floor area of 5,863.44㎡.
The city confirmed the design proposal by Seoro Architects as the winning entry following the design competition evaluation held the previous day.
The winning design features a central courtyard and arranges unit-style houses as the basic layout. Circulation spaces are placed around the building to create a living environment where daily life can continue seamlessly.
Seoro Architects will be granted the rights for basic and detailed design. The city plans to sign a contract with Seoro Architects within this month and conduct the basic and detailed design over seven months. Compensation will be provided differentially to other prize-winning entries according to relevant regulations.
