[Concall] NCSoft "Considering Meaningful M&A"
Hong Won-jun, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NCSoft, said during the Q3 earnings conference call on the 9th, "We are continuously evaluating M&A opportunities, and the overall direction is to keep looking at both game-related and non-game M&A," adding, "We are considering M&A deals that are strategically significant and of meaningful scale."
He continued, "It is not about doing multiple M&As, but even if we do one, it must greatly benefit the company," and added, "We will do our best, hoping for good results."

CFO Hong explained, "This is a time when M&A is necessary, and although many new titles are being released, M&A is a means to boost stock prices and performance during this process," and said, "Our main focus for M&A is games. We are looking at areas where we can expand game-related IPs, including studios. We are also capturing attractive opportunities in non-game sectors."
