LX Semicon Appoints President Lee Yoon-tae as New CEO
2024 Executive Personnel Appointments Announced
LX Semicon announced on the 8th that it has carried out executive appointments for 2024 and appointed President Lee Yoon-tae as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
President Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He previously served as Head of Development at Samsung Electronics' System LSI Division, Head of LCD Development at Samsung Display, and CEO of Samsung Electro-Mechanics.
While managing Samsung Electro-Mechanics, he led the company to its best-ever performance through bold investments and comprehensive structural reforms.
LX Semicon explained, "To prepare for an uncertain business environment and future readiness, we have appointed a new CEO who is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive corporate management experience and outstanding capabilities and expertise in component businesses, including semiconductors."

In this executive appointment, Director Han Young-soo was promoted to Managing Director, and Senior Researcher Park Jung-hyun was newly appointed as Director.
