On the 6th, Superintendent Lim held an interactive communication event at the Arena Hall of the Southern Office of Education in Suwon, attended by about 200 Grade 9 public officials with less than two years of experience in education administration, engineering, facilities, and health fields.
The event, conducted under the three keywords of ‘Communication, Empathy, Fun,’ was planned with a dedicated task force (TF) mainly composed of low-experience workers from the planning stage to ensure two-way communication. A preliminary survey was conducted to gather opinions from Grade 9 public officials, which helped set the direction and purpose of the event.
In particular, the event was planned based on the insight that although there have been many forums, study groups, and debates related to education policies, there had been no events held with a focus on the working environment and treatment of local public officials that incorporated an element of fun.
Superintendent Lim Tae-hee stated, "Excellent individuals should become public officials, and the country should be driven forward centered on public officials," adding, "Although public officials play an important role, we will strive to find ways to improve the issues related to their poor treatment."
