Two Pedestrians Injured as Steel Structure Near Hongdae Topples in Strong Winds
Two pedestrians were injured when a steel structure collapsed due to strong winds at a construction site near Exit 8 of Hongdaeipgu Station on Seoul Subway Line 2.
According to Mapo Fire Station, at around 3:29 p.m. on the 6th, a steel structure fell at a building construction site near Exit 8 of Hongdaeipgu Station in Donggyo-dong, Seoul, hitting two passersby.
Among them, a woman in her 50s sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, while a man in his 40s suffered facial injuries and was taken to a hospital after emergency treatment.
The fire department deployed 54 personnel and 12 pieces of equipment.
