Germany is one of the European countries with high interest in K-pop. Last year, the largest K-pop concert in Europe, 'KPOP.FLEX,' was held in Frankfurt, and the local media Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) reported that "Frankfurt is transforming into the K-pop capital of Germany."
A K-pop dance group, captivated by K-pop, voluntarily gathers every month at Goetheplatz in Frankfurt to perform dance shows. Starting with about 30 members a few years ago, it has recently grown to over 150 members, becoming the largest K-pop dance group in Germany. FAZ reported that "some dance teams travel hundreds of kilometers from Hamburg or Munich to Frankfurt."
