LH Hosts New:Home 50-Second Video Contest with Youth
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 6th that it will hold the "New:Home 50-Second Video Contest with Youth" in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to mark the first anniversary of the public sale housing 500,000 units and the New:Home policy announcement.
This contest was prepared to find fresh ideas from youth regarding homeownership and youth housing policies.
Any youth in the Republic of Korea can participate, and individuals or teams can submit their works via email by the 18th. Submissions can be made in each category.
The contest is divided into video and scenario categories. The video format is free, and the video length should be around 50 seconds.
The results will be announced in November, and the awards ceremony will be held at the New:Home Wirye Promotion Center.
The judging panel, including contest organizers and external experts, will comprehensively evaluate the entries based on criteria such as understanding of the theme, originality, planning ability, completeness of the work, and impact to select the winners.
The total prize money is 15 million KRW, with the grand prize in each category awarded to one individual (or team) receiving the Minister’s Award, one Excellence Award winner, and two Outstanding Award winners receiving the Korea Land and Housing Corporation President’s Award. Additionally, mobile gift certificates will be given to participants through a lottery.
Winning video entries will be immediately utilized in the New:Home campaign both online and offline, and winning scenario entries will be produced into videos in collaboration with short-form influencers.
LH President Lee Han-jun said, “Through this contest, we hope that youth can more easily engage with the New:Home policy project and turn it into an opportunity for homeownership,” adding, “We will strive to reflect the fresh ideas presented in the contest in housing policies for youth.”
