A Diver in His 30s Dies While Working on Stone Wall Construction Off the Coast of Goseong, Gyeongnam
Changwon Coast Guard and Ministry of Employment and Labor officials are inspecting the accident site together.

A man in his 30s who was stacking stones underwater in Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, died, prompting the Coast Guard to launch an investigation.
According to Changwon Coast Guard Station on the 4th, Mr. A, who entered the water to work on a stone embankment in Naesan-ri, Donghae-myeon, Goseong-gun, at 3:03 p.m. on the 3rd, was found dead.
Mr. A's colleague began an underwater search around 1:30 p.m. that day after Mr. A did not surface following the work and found him.
Mr. A was immediately brought out of the water but was reported to be unconscious and not breathing.

Changwon Coast Guard is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and whether safety regulations were violated, in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, as it is believed Mr. A died during the work.
