Final Inspection Ahead of January Opening Next Year
Jeong Myeong-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, visited the construction site of the 'Hwaseong-si Jeongjohyo Senior Welfare Center,' scheduled to open in January next year, to conduct a final inspection of the construction status.
During the visit, Mayor Jeong focused on inspecting safety construction and any inconveniences during use.

The Jeongjohyo Senior Welfare Center is being built on a 3,500㎡ site at 190-7 Songsan-dong within the Taean 3 District Neighborhood Park, with a total floor area of 7,962㎡ spanning from one basement floor to three above-ground floors. Construction began in June last year, with a total project cost of 21.1 billion KRW. The building is expected to be completed this month and open in January next year. Once completed, it will become the largest senior welfare center in Hwaseong City.
The newly constructed welfare center will be equipped with counseling rooms, physical therapy rooms, a senior dining hall, rest areas, billiard and table tennis rooms, janggi and baduk rooms, a large conference room, program rooms, calligraphy and art rooms, and DIY craft rooms.

Mayor Jeong said, "As the Jeongjohyo Senior Welfare Center will be the hub for senior welfare services in the northern region of Hwaseong City, I ask for thorough and special attention to ensure its smooth completion. We will also work hard to prepare for the opening by developing various senior welfare programs."
