Ulsan Office of Education Develops Standard School Life Regulations
Includes Ministry of Education's Student Separation and Life Guidance Regulations Details
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education recently developed a ‘Standard School Life Regulations’ and distributed it to schools to assist in revising school rules at the school sites.
The Office developed the standard regulations to ensure that the Ministry of Education’s ‘Notice on Teachers’ Guidance of Student Life’ is properly implemented in the field.
The newly developed standard includes provisions for separating students and storing items separately according to school rules that guarantee teachers’ right to teach and students’ right to learn. It also includes content allowing students to be handed over to guardians for home study.
Schools must collect opinions from members and reflect the matters delegated from the notice to the school rules according to their school conditions by the end of this year.
The Office of Education will hold a remote training session on the 8th, inviting instructors who authored the commentary on the notice to help understand the notice, the standard regulations, and the revision of school rules. This training will be conducted via YouTube for all school administrators and department heads in the Ulsan area.
Ulsan Office of Education also plans to encourage participation in the training by faculty, students, and parents. They will actively promote so that student council representatives and parent representatives of the school operation committee can understand the changing scope and methods of student guidance.
Materials that can be used for individual school training and posters that can be posted in teachers’ offices and classrooms will also be produced and distributed.
They plan to support the field by conducting demand surveys for installing emergency bell systems necessary for student separation measures and improving the environment of student separation spaces.
