Convenience store GS25 announced on the 1st that the 'Hobak Injeolmi Soboro,' launched in collaboration with Chang-eok Tteokjip, recorded the highest sales in the entire bread category immediately after its release.

Hobak Injeolmi Soboro is a dessert product planned by GS25 by combining rice cake and bread in line with the 'Halmeennial' (grandmother + millennial) trend. It was released on the 18th, containing Chang-eok Tteokjip's popular product, Hobak Injeolmi, inside soboro bread.
As Hobak Injeolmi Soboro gained high popularity, GS25 decided to expand the production line and advance the release of the follow-up product. The production volume was increased by 350% compared to the initial amount, and the follow-up product, 'Chang-eok Tteok Tongpat Chal Tteokbang,' is scheduled to be unveiled on the 2nd.

A GS25 official said, "We plan to focus on showcasing differentiated K-desserts by expanding the rice cake bread lineup through organic collaboration with Chang-eok Tteokjip." Chang-eok Tteokjip, which opened in 1965 in Gwangju, Jeonnam, has recently expanded its sales to online channels and established itself as a strong small and medium-sized enterprise with annual sales of 25 billion KRW.
