Religious Community Joins Effort to Establish Care Safety Network in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has signed a business agreement with religious organizations to identify blind spots in care.
On the 25th, the district announced that it signed business agreements with four organizations: the Gwangsan-gu Christian Council, Catholic Gwangju Social Welfare Association, Gwangju Buddhist Federation, and Won Buddhism Gwangju Jeonnam District Western Area.
The business agreement was promoted to identify vulnerable households by utilizing the human and social networks of each religious organization and to connect integrated care services and public welfare services.
According to the agreement, religious organizations will post and manage notices for identifying vulnerable households within their facilities, as well as promotional materials for integrated care and welfare projects.
They will also use club formations and religious networks to identify vulnerable households and share related information with the district office.
