The Spatial Information Safe Zone is a secure area where the public can freely analyze restricted information that is difficult to access or utilize. After prior application and visiting the site, users can analyze data and have the results reviewed before exporting them. The restricted information here refers to highly detailed or coordinate-included three-dimensional (3D) spatial information that cannot be disclosed for security reasons.
The Ministry expects that by designating the Spatial Information Safe Zone, essential data serving as core infrastructure for the development of digital twins, urban air mobility (UAM), autonomous driving, smart cities, and as a foundation for national projects (realizing digital economy hegemony) will be more conveniently utilized across all industries.
