Krafton Establishes 12th Game Studio, Flyway Games
Krafton has established its subsidiary Flyway Games and is actively expanding its new game lineup.
In July, Krafton announced the establishment of a new proposal system for new titles called ‘The Creative’ and the founding of a subsidiary tentatively named ‘SLC (Soft Launch Company).’ Flyway Games is the official corporate name of SLC, officially launched in September as the 12th game development studio wholly owned by Krafton. The inaugural CEO of Flyway Games is Kim Sooyoung, head of the Challengers Division, and development personnel from Krafton have transferred to join the new studio.
Flyway Games continues its challenge to provide new gaming experiences on PC and mobile platforms. Currently, Flyway Games is preparing five projects that have passed Krafton’s ‘The Potential’ validation process. Each project is scheduled to be sequentially introduced to users through soft launches and early access within 2024.
