"Yoon Will Take Defeat Seriously"
Following the ruling party's defeat in the by-election for the mayor of Gangseo District, Seoul, voices calling for a change in President Yoon Suk-yeol's national governance stance are emerging. In this context, Yoon Hee-seok, senior spokesperson for the People Power Party, said, "It will be a very serious situation for the President to accept this."
Spokesperson Yoon appeared on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show' on the 18th and said, "This is the first mid-term evaluation election since the inauguration, isn't it? This is the first time we have lost since President Yoon took office."

Spokesperson Yoon said, "We also have to admit that there are such aspects," and explained, "If described as rough, it might be a bit rough; some even say it is somewhat unpolished or immature. Since the President is a legal professional, the perspective of a legal professional on the world can differ from that of a politician, and given that he has been in office for just over a year, there are probably differences in those respects."
He added, "I believe the President must have definitely felt this (defeat in the election)," and said, "I expect that he will naturally make changes regarding that (style of governance)."
