National Housing Sales Consumer Sentiment Rises for 3 Consecutive Months
The nationwide housing sales consumer sentiment index has maintained an upward trend for three consecutive months.
According to the real estate market consumer sentiment survey data released by the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements on the 17th, last month’s nationwide housing sales market consumer sentiment index was recorded at 119.4, up 1.1 points from the previous month. The nationwide housing sales market consumer sentiment index has steadily increased for nine consecutive months since January this year (91.5), continuing its upward trend since July.
This index is classified as a downward phase if below 95, and an upward phase if 115 or above.
Seoul’s housing sales consumer sentiment index rose 0.3 points from the previous month to 127.4. Seoul’s sales sentiment index has been on the rise for ten consecutive months. Gyeonggi-do was recorded at 120.8, down 1.1 points.
Among the provinces, Sejong had the highest at 131.7, followed by Gangwon and Chungbuk at 128.7 and 128, respectively.
The nationwide housing jeonse market consumer sentiment index was 100.5 in September, up 1.6 points from the previous month, also continuing its upward trend for nine consecutive months. However, the index itself still showed a stable phase.
