‘Daesun Joojo Cup’ Busan Amateur Football's Biggest Festival Unfolds

This Year, 63 Teams and 1,300 Participants Compete with Enthusiasm
Local company Daesun Brewery (CEO Jo Woo-hyun) held a festival for soccer enthusiasts in Busan.
Daesun Brewery has been supporting the creation of opportunities for friendship and health promotion among soccer enthusiasts in the Busan area for 22 years.
On the 16th, Daesun Brewery announced that the "42nd Busan Metropolitan City Football Association President's Cup and Daesun Brewery Cup Soccer Tournament" was held on the 15th at five locations including Gijang World Cup Village.
Started in 1981, the Busan City Football Association President's Cup is regarded as the largest festival for local recreational soccer enthusiasts.
This year's Daesun Brewery Cup soccer tournament was divided into five age categories (Youth, Middle-aged, Veteran, Silver, Golden). A total of 63 teams and 1,300 participants competed fiercely, with the Youth Division Group A winner being Geumjeong-gu and Group B Yeongdo-gu; Middle-aged Division Group A Nam-gu and Group B Buk-gu; Veteran Division Group A Gijang-gun and Group B Yeonje-gu; Silver Division Group A Gangseo-gu and Group B Gijang-gun; Golden Division Group A Dongnae-gu and Group B Yeonje-gu lifting the championship cups. The winning teams earned the right to participate in national competitions.
Baek Hyun-sik, president of the Busan City Football Association, expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the full support of local company Daesun Brewery again this year, we were able to create a place where local soccer enthusiasts could come together as one."
