Gwangju Waterworks Headquarters to Refund Double Automatic Payment by the 13th
The Gwangju Waterworks Headquarters announced on the 11th that it discovered a double payment error in automatic water bill payments and will promptly refund the amounts by the 13th.
The water bills for customers due at the end of September were normally withdrawn on the 4th, but due to an error, a second withdrawal occurred on the 10th, resulting in double payments.
The exact details, including the number of double payment cases and amounts, are expected to be confirmed through the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute on the afternoon of the 11th.
The Waterworks Headquarters plans to promptly notify affected customers once the precise double payment situation is identified and, with the cooperation of banks, aims to complete full refunds by the 13th.
