Wild & Local Food Festival... Promoting Healthy Living Practices for Seniors
Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 7th that the '11th Healthy Harmony "Ssing Ssing Saeng Saeng" Exciting Gymnastics Competition,' held on the second day of the Wild & Local Food Festival at Gosan Natural Recreation Forest, was successfully concluded.
Now in its 11th year, this gymnastics competition featured participants aged 60 and over from 13 eup and myeon districts. They performed easy-to-follow health gymnastics routines from senior centers and village halls, fully expressing their enthusiasm and talent.
The competition served as an opportunity to motivate healthy living practices and spread a positive atmosphere, with participants igniting the event with passion that transcended their senior years.

The cheering squads, composed of residents from each of the 13 teams representing the eup and myeon districts, were also lively. In the latter part of the competition, a joint performance by the gymnastics instructors of the 13 teams heated up the venue even more, fostering a spirit of unity.
As a result of the competition, all participating teams received awards including the Participation Award, Health Award, Harmony Award, and Excitement Award. The cheering awards went to the Gyeongcheon Daechu Sarang Team, Gui Gui Unnies Team, and Bibong Bonghwang Bonghwang Fighting Team. The awards for number of participants and passionate senior spirit were given to three teams: Gosan Miso Angels Team, Soyang Azalea Love Team, and Hwasan Hwasan Hanwoo Team.
