Women's Archery Advances to Team Semifinals After Defeating Indonesia [Asian Games]
Avenge Defeat at Berlin World Championships
Korean women's archery advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games team event. Lim Si-hyun (Korea National Sport University), An San (Gwangju Women's University), and Choi Mi-seon (Gwangju Bank) defeated Indonesia 6-0 in set score (54-50, 57-49, 55-51) in the women's team quarterfinals held on the 6th at the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center Archery Field in Hangzhou, China. They avenged their defeat in the round of 16 at the Berlin World Championships last August and continued their smooth progress toward a medal. The players will face India at 11:20 a.m. that day to compete for a spot in the finals. Since the 1998 Bangkok Games, Korean women's archery has never missed the gold medal in this event and is now aiming for their seventh consecutive victory.
