Baemin Opens Recruitment for 6th Cohort of Developer Training Program 'Woowa Tech Course'
Admission Information Session Held on the 5th
Baedal Minjok's 'Woowa Tech Course' (hereinafter Wooteco), which has established itself as a leading developer training program in Korea, is recruiting its 6th class. Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok (Baemin) (CEO Lee Guk-hwan), announced on the 5th that they will recruit new students for the 6th class of the free developer education program 'Wooteco,' which will run for a total of 10 months starting from February next year.
On the same day, Baemin will also hold an admission briefing session at the Wooteco Jamsil Campus located in Songpa-gu. At this briefing, the educational philosophy and program of Wooteco, as well as stories from participants, will be introduced. The session can also be viewed live on the official Woowa Tech YouTube channel, and currently, more than 4,200 developers have pre-registered.
Wooteco is a free IT education program established by Woowa Brothers in 2019 to address the developer shortage in the IT industry and to cultivate excellent developers. There is no requirement to apply for a developer position at Woowa Brothers after completion. With a field-oriented education approach, the employment rate of graduates in developer positions reaches 90%.

Recruitment for the 6th class of Wooteco will begin at 3 p.m. on the 6th, the day after the briefing session. The deadline for document submission is 10 a.m. on the 16th. The total number of recruits is about 150. Park Jae-sung, Director of the Tech Course Education Development Office at Woowa Brothers, said, "Wooteco is not simply about producing developers with good technical skills, but about nurturing software artisans through the experience of immersion, and through this, developing the domestic developer ecosystem." He added, "We will continue to improve the education program to create an environment where more developers can immerse themselves, grow, and learn."
